Educating nursing students involves a passion and love for the job. I want to be that positive, enthusiastic role model for current and future nursing students. Providing a positive and comfortable environment allows students to thrive, especially when in clinical settings. I want to provide all of this for my students so they can come to me with anything, but also open the doors to allowing them to gain the best overall experiences possible in the clinical setting.
Research/Scholarship Interests: Nursing education, de-escalation strategies in aggressive patients in the ED setting, Student success related to professor/student relationships.
