D'Ana Brooks

DNP, RN, CNL, Clinical Instructor


D’Ana Brooks is a clinical instructor at the University of Connecticut School of Nursing. She joined the faculty at the UConn School of Nursing in August 2023 bringing her diverse clinical experience and expertise. Her clinical focus includes medical-surgical, pulmonary, behavioral health, drug detox, oncology, safety and quality. She is an active member of the Southern Connecticut Black Nurses Association (SCBNA) serving the near by communities. Her scholarly work thus far has had a pertinent focus on quality and patient outcomes improvement through the enhancement of electronic health care platforms. Brooks teaches across all settings including clinical, simulation labs, and courses at the undergraduate level.
