Program Progression Requirements

Advancement to the UConn Storrs campus and continuation in the nursing program requires:

  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
  • Completion of all prerequisite courses with a grade of C or better
  • Successful completion of all clinical, lab, and simulation requirements

Program Timeline

  • Years 1–2 (UConn Waterbury)
    Complete core curriculum (52 credits) and introductory nursing courses with labs (15 credits)
  • Years 3–4 (UConn Storrs)
    Complete advanced nursing coursework and clinical practicum (60 credits)
