Assistant Clinical Professor


Dr. Vanessa Bolling serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor, bringing a dynamic and diverse nursing background to her role. She teaches graduate-level didactic and clinical courses for Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP), and Nurse Educator students. With a strong foundation in medical-surgical nursing and current practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner in primary care across the lifespan, Dr. Bolling delivers a practice-based, student-centered approach to teaching and clinical education.

She is the founder of Kingdom Health Connections, a faith-based community health promotion initiative dedicated to addressing health disparities in underserved populations. Through this platform, she organizes health education workshops, community events, and podcasts that promote wellness, prevention, and access to care within faith-based communities. Her commitment to health equity and service has earned her local recognition for her impactful work.

Dr. Bolling has also translated her passion for health promotion into nurse practitioner entrepreneurship, developing innovative care models rooted in faith, education, and empowerment. Her dedication to holistic care, education, and service continues to shape the next generation of nursing professionals while advancing accessible healthcare in the communities she serves.

Beyond the classroom and community, Dr. Bolling serves as a mentor to many emerging nurse practitioners, offering guidance on career development, leadership, and entrepreneurial pathways. Through her multifaceted work, she remains deeply committed to empowering nurses and improving community health through compassionate, purpose-driven practice.
