MSN, RN, Clinical Instructor

I have been a nurse for 17 years, 11 of which have been spent at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital as a critical care nurse. My love for teaching began early on working with capstone students, precepting new graduates, and new critical care nurses. After receiving my MSN, I started teaching for the UCONN CEIN program as an adjunct clinical instructor in 2019. My focus is bringing the knowledge they learn in the classroom to life in the clinical setting. The joy of teaching comes from the connections that are made at the bedside.

Research/Scholarship Interests: Healthcare disparities in the underprivileged, Mental health of nurses and improvement of retention especially in new nurses.
