Beth Weldon
MSN, RN
Clinical Instructor
She/Her/Hers
Beth Weldon has served as adjunct faculty in the Certificate Entry Into Nursing Program at UConn School of Nursing since 2018. She has been a registered nurse for 21 years, and spent her first 13 years working in the critical care and cardiovascular units at St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury, Connecticut. She has spent the past nine years also working as a nursing supervisor at the same facility. It was in that role that she realized her love for teaching. Years of mentoring newly hired nurses and acting as a hospital-wide resource allowed her to learn the adaptability and personal connection required to be an effective educator. Weldon prides herself in her clinical competency and effective communication, and finds great joy in assisting in the education of the future generations of UConn nurses.
