Dr. Parekh de Campos has a joint appointment with the leadership team at Middlesex Health Hospice Homecare program. Her goal is to bridge academic learning with clinical practice. Her program of research focuses on palliative care and communication. Specifically, she has created and tested a simulation for registered nurses in advance care planning communication. Parekh de Campos aims to expand her research to include outcome-based findings for communication in palliative care and end-of-life care with patients and families. She also is working to enhance palliative care curriculum among undergraduate students.
