Amanda Moreau is a full-time simulation clinical instructor at the University of Connecticut Elisabeth DeLuca School of Nursing. She is an alumnus of the program and developed a passion for nursing education through working with new graduates at the bedside in the emergency department. Amanda teaches high fidelity simulation and skills labs across various nursing courses in the undergraduate programs, including fundamentals, med-surg, behavioral health, pediatrics, and capstone. She is a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE). Amanda has professional interests in promotion of interprofessional collaboration and global learning experiences. In addition to her teaching, she serves as a nursing representative on the UConn Committee on Interprofessional Excellence in Healthcare (CIPEH) and the Nursing Global Committee.
