Nichole Williams, MSN, RN, is a Clinical Instructor at the University of Connecticut Elisabeth DeLuca School of Nursing with more than twenty-five years of nursing experience in acute care, telemetry, progressive care, intensive care, and cardiac nursing. Her extensive clinical background includes roles as a staff nurse, charge nurse, preceptor, and educator, providing a strong foundation for her work with nursing students.
Nichole’s teaching philosophy is grounded in creating a supportive and engaging learning environment that fosters clinical judgment, critical thinking, professional growth, and safe patient care. She is passionate about helping students bridge the gap between theory and practice while developing confidence in their clinical skills and decision-making.
Her scholarship interests include nursing education, clinical competency development, simulation, and evidence-based teaching strategies that support student success and the transition to professional nursing practice.
Through service, Nichole is committed to mentoring students, supporting new nurses, and strengthening partnerships between academic and clinical practice settings. She is dedicated to preparing future nurses to provide compassionate, evidence-based, and high-quality nursing care
