Dr. Jessie Fisher has 18 years of nursing experience, including practice in a medical-surgical and neuro intensive care unit, as well as roles in rapid response and resource nursing. Her advanced practice experience includes family medicine, student health, and hormone optimization.
Dr. Fisher’s passion for teaching began early in her nursing career through precepting students and new nurses. Her teaching focuses on helping students translate classroom knowledge into real-world clinical practice, with an emphasis on clinical reasoning, prevention, wellness, and patient-centered care.
She is committed to preparing confident, competent registered nurses through teaching, scholarship, and service.
