My current research interests are related to risk factors for addiction and comorbidity (depression and anxiety) in adolescent populations. I am interested in the potential contributions of serotonin genetics and neuropsychological impulsivity and distress tolerance to substance use in adolescence and young adulthood.

My current dissertation study focuses on investigating the contributions of serotonergic and opioidergic gene polymorphisms and impulsivity endophenotypes to opioid use phenotypes in young adults.
