Program Overview

This best practice training meets CT Child Care Licensing regulations and prepares center and family child care and Head Start providers in general principles of medication administration and techniques for administering oral, topical, inhalant and emergency medications for life threatening allergies. Child Care Licensing regulations require training in general principles of medication administration and oral, topical, and inhalant medications every 3 years and emergency medications every year. Conducted in collaboration with Yale University School of Nursing.

This is a 5 hour course. $80 per person. Non-refundable.
